Nairobi Arrival
Met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, given a safari briefing and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Nairobi.

Nairobi Highlights to Lake Elmenteita
Morning excursions around the Karen Suburbs: Giraffe Centre for eye-level hand-feeding, Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to see rescued baby elephants, and the Karen Blixen Museum — home of the writer of Out of Africa from 1917 to 1931. Lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens then drive to Lake Elmenteita in the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Elmenteita – Lake Nakuru Game Drive
After a hearty breakfast, full day game drive to Lake Nakuru National Park (30 minutes away). Lions, rhinos, buffalos, leopards and spectacular flamingo flocks. Return to Lake Elmenteita for sunset and dinner.

Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive for lunch at your Mara camp. Afternoon relaxation then your first evening game drive in one of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife reserves.

Early morning and afternoon game drives across the Mara plains in search of the Big Five. Explore acacia-dotted plains, tree-lined rivers and woodlands. Visit the Mara River crossing routes for wildebeest herds (seasonal).

Full day morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara Reserve. Optional sunrise hot-air balloon (extra cost) or Maasai village visit. The Big Five are always present and the Mara rewards patient game watchers at every turn.
