Day-by-Day Itinerary
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Met at JKIA and given a safari briefing before heading straight to Amboseli National Park, arriving at Ol Tukai Lodge for late lunch. Afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular Kilimanjaro views.

Morning and afternoon game drives. Early morning offers the best Kilimanjaro visibility and most active wildlife including elephants, lion, buffalo, cheetah and hippos in the swamps.

Amboseli to Aberdare National Park
Early breakfast then drive north towards Mt Kenya. Lunch at Aberdare Country Club then transfer to The Ark tree hotel inside the park. Afternoon and evening watching wildlife at the floodlit waterhole and saltlick — smaller animals arrive first, then the larger ones.

Aberdare to Samburu National Reserve
Drive north to Samburu National Reserve, arriving at Elephant Bedroom Camp for lunch. The camp is inspired by indigenous Samburu architecture and blends into its riverine environment. Late afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Samburu National Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu, home to species unique to north of the equator — reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx and helmeted guinea fowl. Large elephant herds and crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Watch the red-robed Samburu tribesmen bring cattle to drink.

Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park
Early breakfast and drive south to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in the late afternoon. Check-in and game drive — famous for its rhino sanctuary, leopards in lakeside trees, and spectacular flamingo flocks.

Full day morning and afternoon game drives. A UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 450 bird species, a rhino sanctuary and regular leopard sightings. Picturesque marshes, woodland, grassland and euphorbia forests surrounding the lake.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara and arrive for lunch at Tipilikwani Mara Camp. Afternoon relaxation followed by your first evening game drive in one of Africa's greatest wildlife reserves.

Full day game drives across the Mara plains in search of the Big Five. Early mornings are most productive. Visit the Mara River for wildebeest crossing routes (seasonal).

Full day in the Masai Mara. Optional sunrise hot-air balloon (USD 480 extra) or Maasai village visit. Your last opportunity to explore this extraordinary reserve.

Masai Mara to Nairobi – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a final photo. Lunch at the legendary Carnivore Restaurant — Africa's Greatest Eating Experience, where meats are roasted on giant Maasai swords over charcoal. Then transfer to JKIA for your outbound flight.
